Living in the shadow of the Great Enclosure, one learns the value of permanence. Our architecture pays homage to the mortarless stone masonry of the Munhumutapa Empire—a testament to Zimbabwean ingenuity. We believe that true luxury should feel like it has always belonged to the earth it stands on.

Lakeside Resort began with a simple walk along the shores of Mutirikwi. We saw a place where the forest canopy met the water’s edge, and we knew it was a space meant for silence, reflection, and rejuvenation.
